Exploring nanoscale energy transport with ultrafast lasers and optical/thermal modeling.
I study ferroelectric HZO thin films and thermal transport in MXenes, bridging lab experiments with COMSOL/TMM/Raman-based analysis.
About Me
I’m a mechanical engineering researcher focused on how heat and light interact in nanostructures. My current work investigates ultrafast laser annealing of Hf₀.₅Zr₀.₅O₂ thin films and Raman-based methods to extract in-plane thermal conductivity in MXenes. I pair experiments with modeling (TMM, COMSOL, custom MATLAB/Python) to connect spectra and temperature fields to material properties.
- Focus: HZO laser annealing; MXene κ extraction
- Methods: Raman/PL, TMM, COMSOL, MATLAB/Python
- Interests: Non-Fourier heat transport, thin-film phase control
Skills
- Python, MATLAB, Java
- COMSOL Multiphysics, Siemens NX, Fusion 360
